ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೆ, ಆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯು ಒಬ್ಬ ಉತ್ತಮ ವಕೀಲನಾಗಲು ಸಾಧ ಎಂದು ಮಾಜಿ ವಿಧಾನಪರಿಷತ್ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾರತೀಯ ಜನತಾ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಚೀಫ್ ವಿಪ್ ಆದ ಕ್ಯಾಪ್ಟನ್ ಗಣೇಶ್ ಕಾರ್ಣಿಕ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಅವರು ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದ ಕಾನೂನು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದಿನಾಂಕ 2-8-2018 ರಂದು ನಡೆದ ನೂತನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಮತ್ತು ವೃತ್ತಿ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ, ಹಿರಿಯ ವಕೀಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಎಂ ವಿ. ಶಂಕರ್ ಭಟ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ವಕೀಲ ವೃತ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡಿತವನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಮತ್ತೋರ್ವ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ, ವಕೀಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸೂರ್ಯನಾರಾಯಣ ಎಂ. ಕೆ. ಅವರು ವಕೀಲ ವೃತ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವೊಂದು ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದರೆ, ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ವೃತ್ತಿ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಸಂಚಾಲಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಜಯನಾರಾಯಣ ಕೆ. ಎಂ. ಪ್ರಾಸ್ತಾವಿಕ ಮಾತಗಳಾನ್ನಾಡಿ, ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದ ವಿದ್ಯಾಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಉದ್ದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾನೂನು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ, ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣೇಶ್ ಜೋಷಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿ, ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ಅಪರಾಹ್ನದ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಡಾ. ಬಿ. ಕೆ. ರವೀಂದ್ರ ಡೈರಕ್ಟರ್ ಆಫ್ ಲೀಗಲ್ ಸ್ಟಡೀಸ್ ಇವರು ಕಾನೂನು ಅಭ್ಯಾಸ ಮತ್ತು ಉದ್ಯೋಗಾವಕಾಶಗಳ ಕುರಿತು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪೋಷಕರಿಗೆ ಸವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾಗಿ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಭಾರ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಜೇಂದ್ರ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಎ. ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿ, ಕಾನೂನು ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅನ್ನಪೂರ್ಣ ವಿ. ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾನೂನು ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕಿ ಕುಮಾರಿ ಶಕ್ತಿತ್ರಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು. ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ನೂತನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
An orientation program for Law students of Vivekananda Law College was organized by the institution on 2-8-2018.
The Dignitaries for the program were Capt. Ganesh Karnik, Former MLC and chief whip of BJP, Mr. M V Shankara Bhat, Senior Advocate, Mangalore and Mr Suryanarayana, Advocate Puttur.
Capt Ganesh Karnik Addressed the students regarding the values of life to be practical by students to become a good human being acceptable by the society. Selfless service is the need of the hour and that is the greatest contribution to the society by law students.
Mr. M V Shankar Bhat senior Advocate Spoke About the Ten Commandments of legal Profession and emphasized on the Integrity, wit, compassion and observed that legal Profession is a service and not a business.
Mr. Suryanarayana, Advocate, puttur, highlighted on the disciplinary aspect of the legal profession and emphasized on patience , respect to court, colleagues and client.
Mr. Vijayanarayan, advocate and correspondent spoke about the journey and development of Vivekananda law college and its contribution to society.
Dr. B. K. Ravindra, Director of legal studies spoke on the various opportunities available to law students both in government and non-government organisations and emphasized that future should digest the values in education.
Mr. Ganesh Joshi, President of governing council of Vivekananda law college said that Vivekananda law college caries to the needs of all sections of the society and identity of its own in legal sector.
Mr. Rajendra Prasad Principal in charge tendered vote of thanks and greeted the fresher’s to the Vivekananda law college.
