On Friday, 8/11/2024, a legal awareness program was conducted at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Residential School, Paddyur, Puttur tq. by the Legal Services Committee of Vivekananda Law College, Puttur on Account of National Legal Services Day.
During the program, Mrs. Sangeetha S.M., Asst. Professor of Law, explained the importance of legal education to the students. Surya Narayana Hegde, Student Coordinator, Legal services Committee, gave a special lecture on criminal law and child-related laws. The resource person elaborated the important legal provisions of child related laws and concisely explained the criminal proceedings to the students.
Mr. Satish,Principal of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Residential School presided the function and Mrs. Sangeetha S.M, Faculty Coordinator, Legal Services Committee , Vivekananda Law College, Sooryanarayana Hegde, Resource person, were present on the stage. Varadashankara student from the college assisted the event.
