A Guest Lecture on Negotiable Instruments Act 1881 was held at Vivekananda Law College on 14/08/2023. Practicing Advocate from Mangalore Sri K.Balaraj Rai was the Resource Person.
Addressing the student community on the topic he mentioned various kinds of negotiable instruments such as cheques, bills of exchange, and promissory notes and about the consequences of it. Highlighting the liability of parties he also stated about penal provisions available under Negotiable Instruments Act 1881.
