On account of the 74th Republic day, Vivekananda Law College held the flag unfurling ceremony on 26th of January 2023 at the college premise.
The event was handled by the Physical Director Mr. Naveen Kumar M.K, .The students, staff and the guest gathered in front of the flagpole at 8.30 a.m.
Mr. Abhishek Lal, President of Student Council took the charge of the event as the Guard of Honor representing Vivekananda Law college and marched towards the chief guest Sri Vijayanarayana K M, Correspondent of Governing Council for the ‘unfurling’ of the national flag of India and the whole college showed respect with salutes.
Addressing the student community during the event the Correspondent said that the constitution has guaranteed a life free of discrimination and wants every citizen to lead a life of dignity .It also propagates the right to express, liberty and justice for the people. He highlighted the importance of both duties and responsible mentioned in the constitution. He added that let upholding the aspirations of the constitution, paying our tributes to the soldiers who protect our borders and to those who have sacrificed their lives for the country also be our duty .
Smt. Akshatha A P Principal of Vivekananda law College was present.
Ms. Arpitha of IV BALLB took the lead of the event and emceed the programme.
Vivekananda Law college students sang ‘Dhvaja Geet’ during the occasion. Mr. The choir team sang the National Anthem and the event dispersed on Mr. Abhishek Lal’s command. Sweets were distributed to all faculty members and the students on account of the Republic Day Celebrations.
