“Samskruthi 2k23” a Traditional Day was celebrated at Vivekananda Law College auditorium on 03/06/2023.
The Chief Guest Sri Kashekodi Sooryanarayana Bhat addressed the student community regarding the importance of culture and tradition after inaugurating the programme. Highlighting the uniqueness of Indian culture and heritage, he said that India is a land of spirituality. Vedas, Upanishads, puranas have influence on our life from time immemorial. Hinduism is not just a religion but it is a way of life. Traditional day is not meant for one day’s celebration. But it has to be followed in day today lifestyle. Youths must stop blindly following western culture and realize the greatness of our tradition.
Presiding over the programme Smt. Akshatha A P, the Principal briefed the provision and protection given by the Indian Constitution to preserve our customs and traditions. Speaking about the principle of unity in diversity, she said that it is a duty of all Indians to respect one another’s way of life to uphold harmony and peace.

The formal programme was followed by a cultural competition on the theme of folk and winning team was honoured by rolling trophies to the winning teams.
ILLB team secured the first place, IIBALLB team got the second place and IV BALLB grabbed the third place. Navaneeth of IIBALLB was honoured as a superstar of the day for his overall performance.
