Vivekananda Law College organized a programme for felicitation to its proud alumnus honourable Mr. Justice Rajesh Rai Kallangala who has been elevated to the position of Judge of High Court of Karnataka. Addressing the student community, Justice Rajesh Rai Kallangala said that law students must focus on developing their reading skills. It gives clarity of thought and would be helpful once they enter into the legal field.
Justice Rajesh Rai Kallangala released ‘Legal Spectrum – Volume IV’; a peer reviewed journal of Vivekananda Law College during the occasion.
Presiding over the programme, the president of Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha, Dr. Prabhakar Bhat Kalladka said that amongst the branches of government, people trust judiciary more than legislature and executive .It is a matter of great pride to see the alumnus of our institution to raise to the topmost height by being elevated as Judge of High Court of Karnataka.

Mr. Ronald Prashanth Dsouza of LLB course was honoured during the occasion for his kind action of donating a decent parking lot to Vivekananda Law College.
