On 06.09.2018 a Guest Lecture was arranged by Vivekananda Law College, by Mr. K.P. Vasudeva Rao, an eminent Advocate of Mangalore. Mr. Vasudeva Rao in his talk analyzed the Indian Contract Act from section 1-75 and admired the contributions of the scholars who enacted the same.
While giving the lecture on Contract Act he stressed various important provisions of the Act such as Sec: 11, Sec: 10, sec:25, sec: 28, sec:35, sec:65, sec: 75 and elaborated certain important concepts such as offer, acceptance, communication, the capacity to contact, void contract, frustration of contract, and misrepresentation, fraud, coercion, mistake with humorous illustration. In the interaction session he had answered the questions asked by the students related to the Contract Act. It was a thrilling exercise to the student community and it was highly appreciated by the students regarding the English language and Vocabulary of the Resource person.
