Sri Kiran B M, Range Forest Officer , Puttur inaugurated the activities of Eco Club for the academic year 2022-23 at Vivekananda Law College auditorium on 07/03/2023.The Committee was symbolically showcased by the guest through planting a sapling in the campus .
The Chief Guest Sri Kiran B M, Addressing the gathering, spoke on the need for the sustainable development. He elucidated the importance of spreading awareness among the people on conservation of water. He urged the young audience to develop awareness towards mother earth.
The programme was presided over by the Principal Smt. Akshatha A P .She said that Eco Club must work towards its mission and achieve its objectives. Developing of personality does not take place within the four walls of the class. Clubs are instruments through which one can find their hidden talent.
The Student welfare Office Smt Sangeetha S M, Eco Club Coordinator Sri Thilak T were present during the occasion.
Eco Club Faculty Coordinator Ms. Disha , Assistant Professor of Law welcomed the gathering. Ms. Rashika of III LLB proposed vote of thanks.
The college Eco club currently comprises of 40 members along with two Faculty coordinators Ms.Disha, Assistant Professor and Mr. Thilak , Computer Assistant.
