Vivekananda Law College in association with its moot society organized Intra Class Moot Court Competition at college campus on 08/07/2023.
After inaugurating the programme, Sri Shambhu Bhat , Advocate , Puttur said that mooting is a great way to develop one’s confidence, speaking, writing skills and research acumen. The proceedings mirror real life court proceedings. Participating in such competitions help the budding advocates to know properly about the profession they get in to.
Holding such moot court competitions make students aware of the court proceedings as it involves drafting of memorials .Advocacy skill is improved by such competition.Moot court as a subject is being added in the curriculum so that law students can be well prepared and groomed in a proper manner as lawyers before they complete their degree said Sri Vijayanarayana , Correspondent of Governing Council during the occasion.
