Vivekananda Law College organized “Shubhamasthu 2K23” a farewell programme for the outgoing batches of final year LLB and BALLB on 31/08/2023 at college conference hall.
Sri Shashidhar B.N, President of Alumni Association was the chief guest for the programme. Addressing the gathering he shared the hardship of the profession and gave advice to inculcate attitude of perseverance and patience in the initial days’ of advocacy practice and wished the outgoing student community a great career ahead.
Dr. B.K.Ravindra, Director of Legal Studies, speaking about the progress of the Institution mentioned that in the survey conducted by the web issue of BW Business World, Vivekananda Law College ranked in the 59th position amongst India’s top Law Schools. He officially handed over the lists of outgoing students to the Alumni Association.
Smt. Akshatha A.P. The Principal of college spoke about the dilemmas students usually face at the eleventh hour of such departure, which would be a barrier to take right decision at the crucial stage of their lives and guided how students should prepare themselves for upcoming challenges in their profession.
Sri Deepak Bolwar , Secretary of Alumni Association invited the outgoing students to the alumni association and emphasizing the importance of 3 P’s in the professional life that is Perfection, Patience and Punctuality , wished good luck for their future endeavors.
Sri Vijayanarayana K.M. Correspondent of Vivekananda Law College Governing Council highlighting the importance of formative years of student life, real education begins after departing from the Institution. He told the students to take more challenges in their lives and never to have a negative approach towards any hurdles they come across because the beauty of life lies in facing it.
Presiding over the programme Sri Surendra Kini, President of Governing Council advised the students to embrace their profession with much gusto.
Smt. Sangeetha S. M, Student Welfare officer called out the names of the outgoing students to receive the letters of appreciation.
Final year students Prjawitha, Ashok Acharya, Ronald Prashanth Dsouza of III year LLB and Abhishek Lal of VBALLB shared their opinions and experience during the occasion.
Miss Shweta Vishweshwara Hegde, Assistant Professor of Law welcomed the gathering . Miss Disha, Assistant Professor of Law proposed vote of thanks. Miss Shiny Vijetha emceed the programme.
In the morning session, juniors wished their seniors a good luck for their next ventures and conducted various fun games and activities to make their college life memorable.
