Students Council Inauguration was held on 1-9-2018 at 9.a.m.The Programme started with invocation and lighting the Lamp. The Dignitaries on the Dias were Hon’ble Additional District and Sessions Judge Sri Shivanna, Dr. Krishna Bhat, Secretary of Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha, Mr.Ajay Kumar D.N. Sub Inspector of Police, Mr.Ganesh Joshy, President of Governing Council of Vivekananda Law College, Mr. K.M. Vijayanarayana, Correspondent of the Governing Council of Vivekananda Law College, Dr. B.K.Ravindra, Director of Legal Studies, Mr. Rajendra Prasad I/c Principal and Mr. Kumar, Staff Advisor were present.
Hon’ble Judge spoke about the importance of Law in society and the role of the budding advocates in upholding the dignity of Legal Profession.
Mr. Ajay Kumar D.N. stressed on the youngsters not to get involved in bad practices and refrain from all addictions.
Dr. Krishna Bhat spoke on the role and responsibilities of law students in building the nation.
Mr. Shaswath, President of Students Council welcomed the gathering and Miss Dhanya rendered the vote of thanks.
The dignitaries were welcomed to the function as per Indian tradition.
After the formal function students conducted cultural program conveying a good message to the student community.
